Emily Glen
Emily is a glaciologist specialising in remote sensing and cloud-based machine learning to study ice sheet hydrology. During my PhD at Lancaster University, I investigated surface meltwater features on the Greenland Ice Sheet, advancing machine learning methods for scalable hydrology mapping. My postdoctoral work with 5DAIS builds on this approach, focusing on high spatial and temporal resolution mapping of surface hydrology on the Antarctic Ice Sheet.
