Professor Anna E. Hogg

Anna Hogg is a Professor of Earth observation in the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds, working in the Institute for Atmospheric and Climate Science (ICAS). She is the co-director of the NERC SENSE Earth Observation Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT), and founded the UKSA regional Space cluster, Space Hub Yorkshire (SHY). Prof Hogg has over a decade of experience in processing SAR data to make ice speed measurements which she uses to improve our understanding of ice dynamics, and is the principal investigator for the 5DAIS project, leading the scientific work of the consortium.
